The Lake Portage Peninsula Restoration

Preserving a unique slice of heaven requires serious dedication. Heavy boat wakes were slowly eating away at this beautiful peninsula on Lake Portage. To permanently stop the erosion without ruining the natural lakefront aesthetic, we spent three seasons constructing over 1,100 feet of premium shoreline protection. The heavy-duty 2-to-3-foot boulder base absorbs the crashing waves, while the cobblestone topper, crisp edging, and lush new sod provide a pristine, park-like finish. Once the 700+ myrtle plugs fill in through the natural cedar mulch, this shoreline will be as stunning as it is secure.
